Job Description:
We are hiring an Asphalt Paving Technician to work on the installation, maintenance, and repair of road surfaces. You will operate heavy equipment such as pavers, rollers, and asphalt spreaders, ensuring proper compaction and surface smoothness.
Key tasks include preparing job sites, applying tack coats, leveling surfaces, and monitoring temperature and density specifications. You will also be involved in safety planning and site clean-up.
The job requires working in outdoor environments and may involve night or weekend shifts depending on project demands.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should have experience with asphalt paving operations, preferably with roadwork or municipal infrastructure projects.
Familiarity with equipment like rollers, pavers, compactors, and infrared patching systems is essential. Knowledge of slope grades, paving temperatures, and material handling is required.
You must have good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. The ability to work in hot and noisy conditions is important.
A valid driver’s license and equipment operator certification are advantageous. Teamwork, punctuality, and a solid work ethic are expected.
