Job Description:
We are seeking an Asbestos Abatement Technician to safely remove and dispose of asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) from residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. You will perform site inspections, set up containment areas, and use specialized equipment to remove hazardous materials.
Your duties include decontamination procedures, air quality monitoring, and legal disposal of hazardous waste. Strict adherence to safety protocols is required to prevent exposure risks.
This is a safety-critical role with training provided for qualified candidates.
Job Requirement:
You must have training or certification in asbestos handling and abatement. Knowledge of PPE, air filtration systems, and containment construction is required.
Experience in hazardous material removal and familiarity with local or national environmental safety regulations is necessary. You should be able to follow cleanup protocols and complete documentation.
Physical fitness, attention to detail, and stress tolerance are essential. Valid health and safety training certificates are mandatory in most jurisdictions.
