Job Description:
We are seeking a caring and responsible Childcare Nanny to join a private household in Granada. You will be responsible for providing attentive and engaging care to young children, supporting their emotional, physical, and educational development in a safe and nurturing environment. Daily duties include meal preparation for the children, dressing, bathing, organizing playtime and educational activities, supervising naps, and assisting with homework if needed.
You will also help maintain the children's areas tidy, wash their laundry, and coordinate with parents about routines, discipline strategies, and schedules. The role requires patience, creativity, and energy, as you’ll be interacting with children throughout the day in both structured and unstructured settings.
This position is best suited for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and understands the importance of providing consistency, routine, and compassion in childcare. Job Requirement:
Candidates must have prior experience in childcare, either as a nanny, babysitter, daycare worker, or similar role. A background in early childhood education, first aid certification, and CPR training are highly desirable. A high school diploma is required, though further education in childcare or child psychology is a plus.
Applicants must be fluent in Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly with both children and parents. You should be emotionally mature, reliable, and organized. A calm demeanor and the ability to respond patiently to children’s needs and behaviors are essential.
You must be physically fit to carry out tasks such as lifting children, playing outdoors, and staying active throughout the day. Knowledge of child nutrition, hygiene standards, and age-appropriate developmental activities will be expected.
Trustworthiness and discretion are critical, as this is a role within a private household. A clean background check and references from previous families or employers will be required. Flexibility with working hours and occasional availability on weekends or evenings is also expected. Candidates with a driving license and ability to travel with the family on holidays will be preferred.
