Job Description:
We are hiring a full-time Family Driver for a private household located in Valencia. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting family members, children, and household staff to various destinations including school, appointments, airport drop-offs, and family outings. You will also be expected to handle some light errands such as grocery pickups, parcel deliveries, or school runs.
The role requires excellent time management and route planning to ensure punctuality and avoid traffic delays. As a representative of the household, you will be expected to maintain a professional appearance and a polite demeanor at all times. The family values trust, discretion, and loyalty, and is looking for a long-term addition to their domestic staff.
Vehicle maintenance is also a key responsibility. You will keep the assigned car clean, fueled, and serviced regularly, reporting any issues promptly. This role may require flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and weekends depending on family plans. Job Requirement:
Candidates must have at least three to five years of experience as a family or personal driver, preferably within a private household or with VIP clients. A valid Spanish driver’s license and an impeccable driving record are non-negotiable. You must be familiar with local traffic laws, parking regulations, and routes throughout Valencia and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, and attentive to safety. Knowledge of car maintenance is necessary—you should be comfortable with basic checks, scheduling services, and ensuring vehicle readiness. Experience driving with children and handling school or extracurricular transportation schedules is highly valued.
Fluency in Spanish is required; basic English is an advantage. Candidates must maintain confidentiality, especially when transporting family members to personal or professional appointments. You should be presentable, courteous, and able to assist with small tasks when needed, including helping with loading/unloading luggage or shopping.
