Job Description:

We are hiring a compassionate and attentive Elderly Caregiver for a private residence in Granada. The caregiver will support an elderly individual with daily living activities, offering companionship and personal assistance in a respectful and professional manner. Duties include helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and meal preparation based on dietary needs.

In addition, the caregiver may accompany the client to medical appointments, assist with mobility, and provide mental stimulation through conversation, games, or light exercise. This role requires patience, empathy, and the ability to manage physical and emotional needs with kindness and discretion.

The ideal candidate is someone who truly values the dignity and well-being of older adults. You will be working closely with the family and possibly a home healthcare team, so excellent communication and teamwork are important. A calm, caring presence is essential to ensure the client feels safe and supported at all times. If you are passionate about elderly care and want to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life, we encourage you to apply.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should have prior experience working as a caregiver or support worker for elderly individuals. Training in elderly care, first aid, or a related healthcare field is preferred. Basic medical knowledge, such as monitoring blood pressure or blood sugar, will be considered a strong asset.

You must be physically capable of assisting with mobility and personal care tasks, including lifting or transferring the client if necessary. Strong interpersonal skills, emotional resilience, and respect for client privacy are essential. Patience and understanding in situations involving memory loss or physical limitations are required.

The ability to cook healthy, age-appropriate meals and maintain a clean living space is important. Familiarity with dementia care or chronic illness management is a plus. You should also be flexible with working hours and open to live-in or overnight shifts if required.
