Job Description:
We are seeking a polished and discreet Footman Attendant to join the household staff of a prestigious private residence in Madrid. This role is ideal for a professional with previous experience in luxury homes or hospitality who enjoys maintaining high service standards and working in a formal household setting.
Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, serving meals and refreshments, setting formal tables, assisting with wardrobe care, handling coats and luggage, running errands, and supporting the butler and other household staff during events or special occasions. You will also help ensure all areas of the residence are guest-ready and support the daily routines of the household with grace and precision.
This role demands a refined demeanor, understanding of etiquette, and the ability to anticipate the needs of the household. You must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. The Footman Attendant plays a critical part in the seamless operation of the residence and upholding the high standards expected within formal service settings.
Job Requirement:
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 to 3 years of experience in a private household, luxury hotel, or formal hospitality setting. A background in service, front-of-house operations, or personal assistance is preferred. Formal etiquette training or knowledge of traditional household service roles is highly valued.
Candidates must be well-groomed, articulate, and comfortable with serving guests, handling personal items, and discreetly managing household tasks. You should be able to work independently or under the supervision of a household manager or butler. Professional attire, punctuality, and a composed presence are essential.
A high level of discretion and loyalty is required, as the role involves regular contact with the family and their guests. Fluency in Spanish is mandatory; English and additional languages are an advantage. You should also be comfortable with lifting luggage, assisting elderly guests, or accompanying family members during outings or errands.
