Job Description:
We are hiring a Dock Loader in Valencia to support the receiving and dispatch operations within our retail warehouse. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading delivery trucks efficiently and safely, stacking pallets, and preparing goods for storage or shipment. You will coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth workflow and timely handling of inventory. Attention to proper packaging and securing loads during transit is vital to avoid damage.
In addition to manual loading tasks, you will be responsible for inspecting incoming shipments for damages or discrepancies, reporting issues promptly to supervisors, and maintaining cleanliness in the dock area. Safety compliance is critical as you will operate in a busy environment with heavy machinery and vehicle movement.
Job Requirement:
Candidates need a minimum secondary education and should be physically strong and capable of handling heavy lifting regularly. Experience in warehouse or loading dock operations is preferred but not mandatory, with on-the-job training provided. Good teamwork, punctuality, and an understanding of workplace safety standards are essential. Familiarity with loading equipment, forklifts, or pallet jacks is a plus. The ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends may be required. Spanish proficiency is necessary; basic English skills are advantageous.
