Job Description:

We are looking for a Grocery Shelf Replenisher in Madrid who is passionate about maintaining optimal shelf stock and ensuring products are attractively displayed to customers. In this role, you will be tasked with restocking shelves, rotating stock to maintain product freshness, and assisting customers with locating items when necessary. Working closely with the team, you will also help unload deliveries, organize storage areas, and ensure that all merchandise is handled with care to reduce wastage and spoilage. Your contribution will directly influence the shopping experience, ensuring that aisles are tidy, inventory is current, and all health and safety standards are adhered to.

A successful candidate will need strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a drive to work efficiently under minimal supervision. Responsibilities include interpreting delivery invoices, lifting heavy packages, using stock management systems, and following visual merchandising plans to create an appealing retail environment. Interpersonal skills are essential, as you will often interact with both colleagues and customers. A high school diploma or its equivalent is typically preferred, along with previous experience in retail or stock replenishment roles.

Job Requirement:

Applicants should possess at least a basic secondary school education. Prior experience in a retail environment is an advantage but not essential as on-the-job training will be provided. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Attention to detail and organization is crucial, as duties involve handling sensitive merchandise and maintaining accurate records. Good communication skills, teamwork, and a customer-service-oriented attitude are also essential attributes. A professional demeanor, punctuality, and a commitment to workplace tidiness will set you up for success. Familiarity with inventory tracking systems or previous use of stock guns is a bonus. Fluency in Spanish and basic English are preferred to facilitate communication in a diverse workplace and with a broad customer base.
