Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Window and Door Installation Technician to join our construction services team. You will be responsible for the accurate and secure installation of various types of windows and doors in residential and commercial properties.
Your work will involve preparing installation sites, removing old fixtures, ensuring proper alignment, sealing, and weatherproofing of frames. You will also interact with clients to explain the installation process and ensure satisfaction with the finished work.
This role demands attention to safety and precision in measurements, cutting, and securing materials. You will work independently and with small teams depending on project scale. Familiarity with different frame materials and locking systems is required to meet quality and security standards.
Job Requirement:
Applicants should have prior experience in carpentry or construction, specifically with windows and doors. A vocational diploma or certification in a related trade is highly beneficial.
You must be able to use tools such as drills, levels, tape measures, and sealants with confidence. Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials are required.
Understanding of weatherproofing, alignment, and local building regulations is important. Good communication skills and customer service experience are advantageous, as the role includes client interaction. A valid driver’s license may also be needed for mobile installation projects.
