Job Description:

The Automation and Robotics Engineer in Ajman will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and robotic solutions to enhance manufacturing, logistics, and industrial efficiency. The role involves developing robotic workcells, integrating programmable logic controllers (PLCs), configuring human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and deploying sensors, actuators, and machine vision systems to perform repetitive or complex tasks with high precision. The engineer will write PLC and robot controller programs (e.g., using Siemens, ABB, Fanuc platforms), design safety interlocks, and manage system simulations and validations before deployment.

Key tasks include performing feasibility studies, supporting end-to-end automation projects from concept to commissioning, and collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to develop integrated systems. The engineer will analyze production data to identify automation opportunities, reduce cycle times, and improve quality. Additional responsibilities include performing fault diagnostics, predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement of robotic systems. This role plays a pivotal part in digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives within the UAE.

Job Requirement:

A bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or Automation Engineering is required, along with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in industrial robotics or automation systems. Proficiency in PLC programming, robot kinematics, machine vision, and industrial communication protocols is essential. Experience with automation software (e.g., TIA Portal, RobotStudio, or RSLogix) and knowledge of safety standards such as ISO 10218 are key. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and project execution skills are also vital.
