Job Description:

The Bioengineering Specialist in Sharjah focuses on applying engineering principles to solve biological and medical challenges through innovation in materials, systems, and devices. This role is central to the development of bio-compatible technologies, tissue engineering solutions, and diagnostics platforms. Key responsibilities include conducting research to explore new bioengineering applications, designing experiments to test biomedical hypotheses, and interpreting biological responses to engineered systems. The specialist may work in areas such as biomaterials, regenerative medicine, biosensors, or wearable healthcare devices. They collaborate with academic researchers, regulatory bodies, and clinical practitioners to ensure the viability and compliance of research outcomes. In product development contexts, they are responsible for technical documentation, device validation, and performance optimization. The role requires frequent use of analytical tools to assess cell cultures, materials behavior, and device functionality under simulated biological conditions. The specialist may also contribute to grant writing, patent applications, and publishing findings in scientific journals. Their work supports innovation in both clinical and pharmaceutical industries, often leading to real-world applications that improve patient care.

Job Requirement:

A master’s degree or PhD in bioengineering, biomedical engineering, or biotechnology is preferred, along with 3–6 years of experience in research and development. Candidates should have hands-on experience in tissue culture, biomaterials testing, microfluidics, or biosensor development. Proficiency with lab instrumentation, data analysis software, and scientific writing is necessary.
