Job Description:
The BI Tools and Visualization Specialist in Ajman is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for data-driven decision-making. This role is essential in translating complex datasets into understandable and visually engaging formats using business intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. The specialist works closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts, business stakeholders, and IT to understand reporting needs and deliver custom solutions. Key responsibilities include data modeling, dashboard prototyping, report automation, and data quality validation. The specialist will also ensure that visualization outputs align with data governance and security standards, especially when dealing with sensitive or confidential data. In addition to technical development, the role involves training end-users on how to interpret and use dashboards effectively, and conducting routine maintenance to ensure performance and relevance of reports. The ability to combine storytelling with data visualization to highlight business trends, performance indicators, and anomalies is vital. The ideal candidate will be an advocate for self-service BI adoption within the organization and contribute to ongoing improvements in analytics maturity.
Job Requirement:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field is required. Candidates must have at least 4–6 years of experience in BI development and dashboard design. Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView is essential, along with strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and KPIs is critical. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary, along with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and translate business needs into technical outputs.
