Job Description:
The Business Unit Manager in Sharjah will lead a strategic business division with full P&L responsibility, overseeing operations, financial planning, marketing, sales, and human resources. The role entails translating corporate strategies into operational goals, setting performance targets, and implementing best practices to optimize productivity and profitability. The manager will evaluate market trends, develop expansion strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards. Collaborating with cross-functional leaders, the Business Unit Manager ensures alignment with corporate objectives and sustains client satisfaction. Duties also include mentoring team members, managing budgets, identifying risks, and preparing performance reports for executive leadership. This position demands a forward-thinking leader capable of managing complexity and driving high-impact initiatives across functional domains.
Job Requirement:
Education: Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Engineering, or Economics; MBA preferred.
Experience: 10+ years in business management, including 5 in a leadership role with P&L responsibility.
Skills: Strategic planning, leadership, budgeting, negotiation, performance monitoring, team development.
Other Requirements: Strong industry knowledge; fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
