Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Road Grader Operator to perform grading and leveling tasks for roads and construction projects in Dubai. The role involves operating motor graders to create flat or sloped surfaces before asphalt or concrete application.
Primary duties include reading site plans, adjusting blade angles, managing elevation levels, and ensuring smooth terrain finishes. The operator must coordinate with surveyors, paver operators, and compaction crews. Additional responsibilities include preventive maintenance, fuel checks, and reporting mechanical issues.
Precision is critical as grading directly affects surface drainage, structural integrity, and long-term pavement performance. Operators work outdoors and are exposed to dust, noise, and high temperatures.
Job Requirement:
Applicants must have at least 3 years of experience operating road graders and understanding of grade setting using lasers or GPS. A heavy equipment operator license is mandatory. Strong coordination, attention to elevation specifications, and mechanical aptitude are required. Prior experience with road construction in the UAE is preferred.
