Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Head of Physics to join our team in Quebec, Canada. As the Associate Head of Physics, you will play a key leadership role in managing and overseeing the Physics department. You will provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and support to faculty members, researchers, and students. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of academic programs, research initiatives, and collaborations within the field of physics. Responsibilities: Provide leadership and management to the Physics department, including faculty members, researchers, and support staff. Collaborate with the Head of Physics to develop and execute the department's strategic goals and objectives. Mentor and support faculty members in their teaching, research, and professional development activities. Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment that promotes excellence in teaching and research. Contribute to the development and implementation of academic programs and courses in physics. Oversee the department's budget, resources, and facilities. Foster research collaborations and partnerships with industry, government agencies, and other academic institutions. Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in the field of physics.

Job Requirement: PhD in Physics or a related field. Strong background in research and teaching in the field of physics. Proven leadership and management skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities. Demonstrated ability to foster a positive and inclusive work environment. Strong record of research publications and grants. Knowledge of academic program development and curriculum design. Familiarity with industry collaborations and research partnerships. Ability to engage and inspire faculty members, researchers, and students.
