Job Description: We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Coordination Specialist to join our team in Edmonton, Canada. As a BIM Coordination Specialist, you will play a key role in coordinating and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and workflows within our organization. You will collaborate with project teams, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and efficient implementation of BIM technology. Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage the BIM process throughout the project lifecycle, from design to construction and facility management. Collaborate with project teams to develop BIM execution plans, standards, and workflows. Perform clash detection, model reviews, and coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts and optimize project coordination. Maintain and update BIM models, ensuring accuracy and consistency of information. Train and support project teams on BIM software and workflows. Collaborate with external stakeholders to exchange BIM data and ensure interoperability. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in BIM coordination. Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and BIM protocols.

Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a BIM Coordinator or similar role within the Engineering & Manufacturing industry. Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360. Strong knowledge of BIM principles, workflows, and standards. Familiarity with clash detection and coordination tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Effective communication and collaboration abilities. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Knowledge of construction processes and building systems.
