Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Energy Efficiency Engineer to join our team in Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing energy-saving measures across various industries. Responsibilities will include conducting energy audits, analyzing energy consumption data, and developing customized energy efficiency solutions for clients. The Energy Efficiency Engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and facility managers, to ensure the successful implementation and performance of energy efficiency projects. Additionally, the candidate will monitor project progress, evaluate energy performance, and provide technical guidance to clients on energy management practices.

Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy efficiency engineering within the Engineering & Manufacturing industry. Strong understanding of energy systems, HVAC systems, lighting systems, and building automation systems. Proficiency in energy modeling software and tools, such as EnergyPlus, eQUEST, or similar programs. Knowledge of energy codes, regulations, and sustainability standards. Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify energy-saving opportunities and quantify energy savings. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Project management experience, including managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting project deadlines. Experience in conducting energy audits and implementing energy conservation measures. Familiarity with renewable energy systems and technologies is a plus.
