Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Systems Engineer Officer to join our team in Winnipeg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of marine systems and equipment. Responsibilities will include conducting system analysis, developing technical specifications, and managing marine engineering projects. The Marine Systems Engineer Officer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including naval architects, electrical engineers, and shipyard personnel, to ensure the successful implementation of marine systems. Additionally, the candidate will provide technical guidance, support vessel operations, and contribute to the continuous improvement of marine systems and processes.

Job Requirement: Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field. A Marine Engineering Officer certification is required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine systems engineering within the Engineering & Manufacturing industry. In-depth knowledge of marine propulsion systems, electrical systems, and auxiliary equipment. Proficiency in system design and analysis tools, such as CAD and simulation software. Strong understanding of marine regulations and classification society rules. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve engineering challenges effectively. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Familiarity with shipbuilding processes and marine system integration. Knowledge of marine safety standards and practices is essential.
