Job Description:
The Auto Cleaning Staff is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles at dealerships, car rental agencies, and service centers in Toronto. Working in a fast-paced environment, the staff performs both interior and exterior cleaning tasks to ensure vehicles are spotless, sanitized, and ready for customer delivery or display.
Key duties include washing and waxing exteriors, vacuuming and shampooing interiors, cleaning windows and mirrors, removing stains, deodorizing cabins, and inspecting vehicles for cosmetic issues. The role may also involve minor detailing tasks such as tire dressing, dashboard polishing, and spot cleaning. Staff may work alone or as part of a team, often under time-sensitive schedules.
This position is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for vehicles. It requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in various weather conditions.
Job Requirement:
Education: No formal education required; training provided on-site.
Experience: Previous car wash or detailing experience is an asset but not mandatory.
Skills:
Ability to use cleaning equipment, vacuums, and polishers.
Attention to detail and pride in quality results.
Basic understanding of vehicle care and safety.
Physical strength for lifting and bending during cleaning.
Time management and efficiency under pressure.
Language: Basic communication skills in English.
Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license preferred for vehicle movement.
Willingness to work weekends and variable shifts.
