Job Description:
The Builder’s Assistant provides essential support to construction teams on residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects throughout Toronto. Working under the direction of site supervisors and skilled tradespeople, the assistant helps ensure smooth day-to-day operations on construction sites by performing basic labor tasks and maintaining site cleanliness.
Core responsibilities include loading and unloading building materials, preparing tools and equipment, mixing cement or mortar, assisting with setting up scaffolding, and cleaning debris from work areas. The assistant may also be tasked with measuring materials, supporting basic framing or demolition work, and handling general site upkeep.
