Responsibilities: Delivery Service: Safely and efficiently transport goods and packages to customers' designated locations, following assigned routes and delivery schedules. Vehicle Inspection: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is in proper working condition and reporting any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors. Package Handling: Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit. Route Navigation: Utilize maps, GPS, or navigation systems to determine the most efficient routes and ensure timely deliveries to customers. Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, records, and other required documentation, including obtaining customer signatures for proof of delivery. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, verifying delivery details, and addressing any inquiries or concerns in a professional and courteous manner. Time Management: Manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines, prioritize deliveries based on urgency, and make efficient use of routes to maximize productivity. Safety Compliance: Adhere to traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations while driving, maintaining a safe and accident-free record.
