Job Description:

The Textile Quality Inspector in Vancouver plays a key role in ensuring that all textile products meet established quality standards before they are released for distribution. This role involves inspecting fabrics, garments, and other textile items for defects, inconsistencies, and compliance with customer specifications.

Daily responsibilities include examining materials for color consistency, weaving errors, stains, tears, and incorrect stitching. The inspector uses visual checks, measuring tools, and sometimes specialized testing equipment to assess texture, strength, and durability. Detailed inspection reports are prepared to record findings, and defective items are flagged for correction or rejection.

The position requires close collaboration with production and quality control teams to address quality issues quickly and maintain smooth workflow. Inspectors also help implement quality improvement measures to minimize future defects.

A strong commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to company quality policies is essential. The work environment may be in a textile manufacturing plant or warehouse setting.

Job Requirement:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; training in textiles or quality control is an asset.

Experience: 1–2 years in textile manufacturing or quality inspection preferred.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy

Familiarity with textile types, weaves, and finishing processes

Ability to use measurement tools and inspection equipment

Knowledge of quality assurance principles

Physical Requirements:

Good eyesight and hand-eye coordination
