Job Description:
We are looking for an Aerospace Sourcing Manager to lead procurement and supplier management for aerospace components and services at Cologne Airport. You will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and ensure supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Your role involves collaborating with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align procurement activities with technical specifications and budget requirements. The Aerospace Sourcing Manager will monitor supplier performance, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
This position requires strategic thinking and strong negotiation skills to maintain competitive advantages in sourcing and supplier relations.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, or business administration. A minimum of 6 years’ experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally within aerospace or aviation industries, is required.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills are essential. Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulatory compliance is preferred.
Fluency in English is mandatory; German proficiency is beneficial. Candidates should be analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive.
Airport security clearance and occasional travel flexibility are expected.
