Job Description:
We are looking for an Airfield Operations Technician in Cologne to support the safe operation of airside infrastructure. You will conduct runway inspections for FOD, pavement integrity, signage condition, and marking compliance. You will also report defects and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams, ensuring adherence to airport safety procedures.
You’ll assist with airfield lighting checks, temporary works monitoring, and provide airside teams with operational updates. Your role is critical to ensuring airfield safety and compliance with EASA standards
Job Requirement:
A technical diploma or degree in aeronautical maintenance, engineering, or airport operations. Minimum 2 years’ experience in airfield inspection or apron services is required.
Knowledge of airside safety protocols, inspection tools, and airport operations is essential. You must hold airside access certification and demonstrate attention to detail and independent reporting ability.
