Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Air Transport Risk Analyst to join our team at Munich Airport. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to air transport operations. You will analyze data related to flight operations, weather conditions, security threats, and operational disruptions to help the airport maintain safe and efficient operations.

You will collaborate with airport authorities, airlines, and regulatory bodies to develop risk management strategies and contingency plans. Your role will also involve preparing risk reports, supporting safety audits, and ensuring compliance with aviation safety standards.

The Air Transport Risk Analyst will use quantitative and qualitative methods to forecast potential hazards and recommend preventive measures. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex risk information to diverse stakeholders are essential.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in risk management, aviation management, statistics, or related fields. Experience in aviation risk assessment or operational safety analysis of at least 3 years is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or specialized risk software are required. Knowledge of ICAO, EASA, and IATA safety regulations is essential.

Excellent communication skills in English are mandatory; German language skills are an advantage. Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple risk projects concurrently is important. Valid airport security clearance will be necessary.
