Job Description:

We are hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our technical operations team at Munich Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial aircraft to ensure they meet airworthiness standards and manufacturer specifications.

You will work closely with engineering teams and flight crews to diagnose mechanical issues, perform troubleshooting procedures, and execute scheduled checks such as A-checks and B-checks. Maintaining accurate records, following strict safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with aviation regulations are key components of this role.

This position involves working in hangars, on ramps, and sometimes in challenging weather conditions. You will be required to use a range of diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment, and to respond to time-sensitive repair tasks to prevent delays in flight schedules. A high level of precision and commitment to safety is essential in this critical support function.

Job Requirement:

Candidates must possess a certified aircraft maintenance engineering (AME) license or equivalent qualification approved by EASA or an equivalent aviation authority. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably in commercial aviation, is required.

You should have hands-on experience with various aircraft types and systems, including hydraulics, avionics, airframe, and engines. Familiarity with aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives is essential.

Candidates must be physically fit, willing to work in rotating shifts, and available during weekends and holidays. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards are mandatory.

Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of German is advantageous. A valid airport ID pass and background security clearance will be necessary to work airside.
