Job Description:
We are hiring an Air Transport Compliance Specialist to ensure that all air transport activities at Hamburg Airport adhere to applicable aviation laws, safety protocols, and industry standards. This role is central to maintaining operational integrity and legal compliance across airline and airport services.
You will conduct internal audits, evaluate risk areas, and support corrective action planning. Additionally, you will monitor regulatory updates, assist in preparing documentation for inspections, and provide training to ensure organizational awareness of compliance responsibilities.
The Compliance Specialist will collaborate with safety officers, legal teams, and external regulators to resolve issues and maintain a strong culture of accountability and adherence to rules.
Job Requirement:
Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in aviation law, transportation management, or regulatory affairs. At least 3–5 years of experience in compliance or quality assurance within the aviation sector is required.
Knowledge of international aviation compliance frameworks such as EASA, ICAO, and IATA is critical. Strong report-writing, auditing, and communication skills are necessary.
Fluency in English is mandatory; German language skills are an advantage. Candidates must be detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working in regulated environments with tight deadlines.
A valid airport security pass and flexibility to support audit schedules are required.
