Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Aircraft Movement Coordinator to join our dynamic airport operations team in Munich. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of aircraft on the ground. This includes coordinating takeoffs, landings, and taxi operations while maintaining clear communication with pilots, air traffic control, and ground crews. You will work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and situational awareness are paramount. Your ability to respond quickly to changing flight schedules, weather conditions, and aircraft priorities will help maintain seamless airport traffic flow. Working in rotating shifts, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aircraft movements are conducted in accordance with international aviation regulations and local safety protocols. Collaboration with airport departments, real-time data monitoring, and logistical planning are core elements of this role. This is a high-responsibility position that offers excellent growth potential within the aviation sector. We value professionals who can make quick decisions, manage stress effectively, and prioritize tasks under pressure while keeping safety and compliance at the forefront of all actions.

Job Requirement:

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in aviation management, logistics, transportation, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in airside operations, ground control coordination, or a similar role is required. Strong knowledge of airport layouts, aircraft types, and ground handling procedures is essential. You must be fluent in English; knowledge of German is a strong advantage. Proficiency in air traffic and airport operations software (e.g., AMHS, AODB) is also preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong decision-making abilities, excellent situational awareness, and be capable of working in high-stress environments. You must be able to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as this role operates on a 24/7 basis. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential as the position involves constant collaboration with various airport departments. Physical fitness is necessary as the role may require occasional on-site inspections or coordination during adverse weather conditions. A valid airport operations pass or eligibility to obtain one is mandatory. Candidates with prior certifications in airport safety or ICAO-standard training will be prioritized. A team-oriented mindset and attention to detail will significantly contribute to your success in this role.
