Job Description:
We are hiring an Air Traffic Strategy Analyst to support the development and implementation of strategic initiatives related to air traffic management at Hamburg Airport. This role involves analyzing air traffic trends, capacity challenges, and regulatory changes to optimize airport operations and enhance overall efficiency.
You will work with air traffic control teams, airlines, and regulatory bodies to evaluate performance data, develop forecasting models, and recommend improvements in traffic flow and infrastructure utilization.
The Air Traffic Strategy Analyst will also prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management to support decision-making on capacity expansion, slot allocation, and airspace optimization.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must hold a degree in aviation management, transportation planning, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in air traffic management, aviation strategy, or operational analysis is required.
Strong analytical, modeling, and data visualization skills are essential. Familiarity with air traffic control systems, regulations, and industry standards is highly preferred.
Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in German is advantageous. Candidates should be proactive, detail-oriented, and effective communicators with the ability to manage multiple projects.
Airport security clearance and flexibility for travel are necessary.
