Job Description:

We are hiring a diligent Air Safety Compliance Manager to oversee and enforce safety regulations at Cologne Bonn Airport. In this role, you will ensure the airport and its partners adhere strictly to national and international aviation safety standards, including compliance with EASA and ICAO requirements.

Your responsibilities include conducting regular safety audits, reviewing operational procedures, and managing corrective action plans to address safety deficiencies. You will work closely with regulatory bodies, airlines, and internal departments to maintain a culture of safety and regulatory compliance across all airport operations.

The Air Safety Compliance Manager will develop training programs, oversee safety documentation, and ensure all safety-related incidents are properly reported and investigated. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and promoting best practices in safety management.

Job Requirement:

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in aviation safety, engineering, or related disciplines. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in aviation safety compliance or regulatory affairs is required.

Strong knowledge of aviation safety laws, regulations, and standards such as EASA, ICAO, and national aviation authorities is essential. Experience conducting safety audits and managing compliance programs is highly preferred.

Excellent communication and leadership skills are needed to coordinate with diverse teams and regulatory agencies. Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in German is an asset.

Candidates must be detail-oriented, able to analyze complex safety data, and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Flexibility to work shifts and respond to safety incidents promptly is required.

A valid security clearance and airport access authorization are mandatory. Commitment to upholding the highest safety standards and continuous professional development is crucial.
