Job Description:
We are seeking a Bulk Material Handling Specialist in Berlin to operate and maintain conveyor belt systems used in transporting raw and processed minerals. The role focuses on optimizing system performance, reducing downtime, and ensuring material flow efficiency.
Responsibilities include real-time monitoring of belt operations, aligning and tensioning belts, replacing worn rollers, and conducting periodic system assessments. The technician will work with other departments to manage material flow requirements and respond quickly to breakdowns.
Job Requirement:
Applicants should have a technical diploma or relevant certification in mechanical systems or bulk handling technologies, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
In-depth knowledge of bulk material flow mechanics, conveyor control systems, and wear component management is crucial. The ability to read schematics and follow preventive maintenance routines is essential.
Applicants must be physically fit, able to work in dusty and industrial environments, and adhere to strict safety protocols. German fluency is required, and any experience with automation or programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is an added advantage.
