Job Description:
We are seeking an Equipment Assembly Fitter in Hamburg to assemble and install new mining equipment and components, including drilling rigs, crushers, and conveyors. This role is focused on precise alignment, mechanical calibration, and quality control during equipment setup and commissioning.
The fitter will follow engineering drawings to assemble complex machinery, perform trial runs, and make necessary adjustments for operational readiness. The position involves collaboration with engineers and technicians to meet production goals and ensure equipment integrity from the outset.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should have completed an apprenticeship or technical training in mechanical fitting, with at least 3 years of experience assembling heavy equipment or machinery.
Proficiency in mechanical blueprints, alignment tools, torque measurement, and calibration is essential. Experience with mining or industrial machinery is highly desirable. Candidates should also have strong troubleshooting skills and a systematic approach to assembling precision components.
A good command of German is essential for following work instructions and safety protocols; basic English is an asset. Physical fitness and the ability to work under pressure are required. Relevant certifications in mechanical assembly or equipment commissioning are preferred
