Job Description:
We are looking for a dependable Bulk Material Loader to join our logistics and handling team in Hamburg. The role is responsible for loading, unloading, and transporting bulk materials such as aggregates, ores, coal, and construction inputs into storage bins, trucks, railcars, or conveyors. This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely and safe material movement throughout the facility.
The loader will operate equipment like hoppers, conveyors, forklifts, and wheel loaders to manage incoming and outgoing material flows. Tasks include monitoring material weight, ensuring proper distribution, and preventing contamination or spillage during loading processes. The role also involves maintaining clean loading zones and following safety procedures during handling.
In addition, the technician must perform daily equipment checks, record loading data, and communicate with logistics and processing teams to coordinate operations. This job offers a dynamic working environment with significant physical and mechanical activity, ideal for individuals who are comfortable in industrial settings.
Job Requirement:
Candidates should have completed secondary education and possess relevant training or certification in material handling or heavy equipment operation. At least 1–2 years of experience in bulk material loading or warehouse logistics is required, preferably in industrial, construction, or mining settings.
Applicants must be familiar with the operation of conveyors, hoppers, forklifts, and front-end loaders. Understanding weight limits, balance, and material properties is essential. The ability to follow loading instructions accurately and to read dispatch documents or digital orders is also necessary.
Candidates should demonstrate strong safety awareness, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical stamina and comfort working in dusty or noisy environments are important.
Fluency in German is essential for coordination and safety compliance, while basic English skills may be helpful for interpreting technical manuals or equipment labels. A valid equipment operator license will be considered a strong advantage.
