Job Description:
We are looking for a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician in Hamburg to service and maintain diesel-powered vehicles and machinery used in mining operations. This includes trucks, loaders, excavators, and drilling equipment. The role focuses on diagnosing engine issues, performing routine maintenance, and conducting major repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and fuel systems.
The technician will use diagnostic tools to assess performance, replace faulty components, and ensure all equipment is running efficiently and in compliance with safety standards. Working closely with the fleet and maintenance teams, the role is crucial in minimizing downtime and extending vehicle lifespan.
Job Requirement:
Candidates must possess a technical diploma or vocational training in diesel mechanics or automotive engineering. At least 3 years of hands-on experience with heavy diesel equipment in mining or construction environments is essential.
Applicants should have in-depth knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, and diagnostics tools. The ability to work independently under tight schedules and in rugged environments is important.
Fluency in German is required for communication and safety compliance, with basic English preferred. Valid certifications for diesel maintenance and heavy equipment handling are highly desirable.
