The Aeronautical Engineer will design, develop, and maintain aerial systems used in precision agriculture and fisheries management across Rome. This role involves working with drones, UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), and other aerial platforms to support tasks such as crop monitoring, pest control, soil analysis, and aquatic ecosystem assessment.
Key responsibilities include designing aircraft systems optimized for agricultural and fisheries applications, integrating sensors and imaging technologies, and ensuring flight safety and regulatory compliance. The engineer will collaborate with agronomists, environmental scientists, and software developers to develop customized aerial solutions that improve operational efficiency and sustainability.
The role requires conducting flight tests, troubleshooting technical issues, and analyzing data collected by aerial devices. The engineer will also stay updated on emerging aerospace technologies and implement innovations to enhance system performance and data accuracy.
Candidates should hold a degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, with experience in UAV design, avionics, and remote sensing technology. Knowledge of Italian aviation regulations and environmental standards is essential.
