The Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions within the Agriculture & Fisheries sector in Rome. This role focuses on analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes by leveraging technology to improve operational efficiency, data management, and decision-making.
Responsibilities include gathering and documenting business requirements, conducting feasibility studies, and translating them into functional specifications for software development and system integration projects. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders from farming, aquaculture, logistics, and management teams to understand workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
The role involves collaborating with IT developers, project managers, and external vendors to ensure that technology solutions meet business objectives. The analyst will also support system testing, user training, and post-implementation reviews to maximize solution effectiveness.
Candidates should hold a degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field, with experience in business analysis, preferably within agriculture or fisheries. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
