The Automation Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated electrical systems in agricultural and fisheries facilities in Florence. This role focuses on supporting advanced machinery, control panels, sensors, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) that enhance efficiency and productivity in farming and fisheries operations.
Key responsibilities include wiring and commissioning automated equipment, diagnosing electrical and control system faults, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with engineers and technicians to optimize system performance. The Automation Electrician will read and interpret electrical schematics, automation diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installations and repairs.
The role requires strict adherence to Italian and European electrical safety standards and environmental regulations. The Automation Electrician also assists in upgrading systems with the latest automation technologies, contributing to sustainable practices in agriculture and fisheries.
Candidates should hold a certified electrician qualification with experience in automation or control systems, ideally within agriculture or industrial environments. Skills in PLC programming, sensor calibration, and motor controls are highly valued.
