The AV Technician in Rome plays a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and supporting audio-visual systems that facilitate communication, training, and presentations within the Agriculture & Fisheries industry. This position ensures that all AV equipment operates efficiently to support operational and educational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain audio and video equipment including microphones, speakers, projectors, video conferencing systems, and control panels across agricultural and fisheries facilities.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV hardware and software promptly to minimize disruption.
Operate and support AV equipment during meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
Collaborate with IT teams to integrate AV systems with existing network infrastructure.
Maintain accurate records of AV equipment inventory, maintenance schedules, and service reports.
Ensure all AV setups comply with safety standards and best practices.
Provide technical assistance and training to staff on the use of AV systems.
Requirements:
Technical diploma or certification in audiovisual technology, electronics, or related field.
Experience in AV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, preferably in agricultural or fisheries environments.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work outside normal hours during events or urgent situations.
