Job Description:

Job Title: Appliance Service Technician
Location: Florence, Italy
Industry: Agriculture & Fisheries

Job Description:
The Appliance Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of domestic and commercial appliances within agricultural housing units, food processing areas, and administrative facilities in Florence's Agriculture & Fisheries sector. This role ensures that key appliances—such as refrigerators, freezers, stoves, dishwashers, laundry machines, and small electrical devices—operate reliably and meet safety and hygiene standards critical to supporting agricultural operations.

The technician conducts routine inspections, diagnoses faults, replaces defective parts, and calibrates systems for energy efficiency and optimal function. Duties also include documenting maintenance records, responding to urgent repair requests, and providing technical advice to facility managers on the usage and longevity of appliances.

Working closely with maintenance and operations teams, the Appliance Service Technician may be required to travel between multiple facilities such as farms, aquaculture sites, and staff accommodations. The role demands knowledge of EU safety compliance and electrical regulations, especially in environments where hygiene, food safety, and staff welfare are priorities.

This position supports the overall operational infrastructure by ensuring that domestic and facility appliances remain functional, minimizing downtime, and contributing to the health, safety, and productivity of workers within Florence’s agricultural and fisheries industry.
