The Cable Assembly Technician in Rome plays a vital role in the Agriculture & Fisheries sector by assembling and testing cable harnesses and wiring systems used in agricultural machinery, irrigation controls, aquaculture monitoring devices, and other electronic equipment. This role ensures the reliable transmission of power and data in systems that improve efficiency and sustainability in farming and fisheries operations.
Responsibilities include cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering wires according to technical drawings and specifications. The technician assembles cable harnesses, installs connectors, labels cables for identification, and performs continuity and quality tests to verify proper function. Maintaining accurate documentation of assembly processes and adhering to industry standards is critical.
The role requires collaboration with engineering and quality teams to meet production deadlines and ensure products comply with safety and environmental regulations. The Cable Assembly Technician may also assist with troubleshooting and rework activities.
