A Concrete Delivery Operator is sought for a construction company based in Florence. The role involves operating concrete mixer trucks to deliver fresh concrete to various construction sites promptly and safely.
Key responsibilities include loading concrete, planning efficient delivery routes, and driving mixer trucks to ensure concrete arrives on time and maintains quality during transport. The operator is also responsible for communicating with site supervisors to coordinate delivery schedules and placement requirements.
Daily tasks involve performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, routine maintenance checks, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The operator must handle concrete pumping equipment when required and maintain accurate delivery records.
This position demands a skilled driver with experience in heavy vehicle operation, a strong understanding of concrete handling procedures, and a commitment to safety.

Education & Licensing:

Valid Italian heavy vehicle driving license (Category C or CE).

Experience & Skills:
Minimum 2 years of experience driving concrete mixer trucks or heavy vehicles in construction or industrial settings.
Knowledge of concrete handling, mixing, and delivery processes.
Ability to operate concrete pumping equipment when required.
Strong mechanical aptitude to perform routine vehicle inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor troubleshooting.
Familiarity with traffic laws, safety regulations, and environmental standards related to heavy vehicle operation.
Physical & Safety Requirements:
Physically fit to operate heavy machinery, perform vehicle inspections, and handle manual tasks.
Commitment to workplace safety, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety protocols.
Ability to work in outdoor environments and various weather conditions.
Communication & Work Ethic:
Fluency in Italian is required; basic English is an advantage.
Good communication skills for coordinating with site supervisors and delivery teams.
