Job Description:
A Concrete Pump Truck Operator is required for a construction company based in Rome. The role involves operating and maneuvering concrete pump trucks to deliver concrete to construction sites efficiently and safely.
The operator will be responsible for setting up, positioning, and controlling the concrete pump to ensure accurate placement of concrete in designated areas such as foundations, slabs, and columns. The job requires coordinating with site supervisors and workers to optimize pump operation and workflow.
Daily duties include inspecting the pump truck, conducting routine maintenance, troubleshooting minor mechanical issues, and ensuring all equipment complies with safety regulations. The operator must adhere strictly to traffic and workplace safety standards while transporting and operating the pump truck.
The ideal candidate has solid experience in operating concrete pump trucks, strong mechanical aptitude, and excellent communication skills to work effectively within a construction team.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and control concrete pump trucks for precise concrete placement

Education & Licensing:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid heavy vehicle operator license (Category C or CE) issued in Italy.
Certification or training specific to concrete pump truck operation is highly preferred.
Experience & Skills:
Minimum 2 years of proven experience operating concrete pump trucks or similar heavy construction machinery.
Strong knowledge of concrete pumping processes, equipment setup, and safe operation techniques.
Ability to perform daily inspections, basic maintenance, and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
Familiarity with site safety standards and local traffic regulations for heavy vehicles.
Physical & Safety Requirements:
Physically fit to operate heavy machinery and perform manual tasks as required.
Excellent spatial awareness and coordination to safely maneuver and position the pump.
Strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper PPE use.
Communication & Work Ethic:
Fluency in Italian is required; basic English is an advantage.
Good communication skills for effective coordination with site supervisors and team members.
Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
