A Mobile Concrete Pump Operator is needed for a construction company operating in Florence. This role involves operating mobile concrete pump trucks to efficiently deliver concrete to various construction sites.
The operator is responsible for setting up and positioning the mobile pump to ensure accurate concrete placement in foundations, walls, slabs, and other structures. Duties include maneuvering the pump boom, controlling flow rates, and coordinating with site teams to meet project specifications and schedules.
Daily responsibilities also include inspecting and maintaining the pump truck, ensuring all equipment functions safely and efficiently. The operator must follow strict safety protocols during transport, setup, and operation, while adhering to local traffic and workplace safety regulations.
The ideal candidate has experience operating mobile concrete pump trucks, a strong understanding of concrete pumping techniques, and excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly.

Education & Licensing:

Valid Italian heavy vehicle driving license (Category C or CE).

Experience & Skills:
Minimum 2 years of experience operating mobile concrete pump trucks or similar heavy machinery in construction or industrial settings.
Solid understanding of concrete pumping processes, equipment setup, and operational safety standards.
Proficiency in maneuvering pump booms and controlling concrete flow rates accurately.
Ability to read and interpret site plans, project specifications, and technical manuals.
Skilled in conducting routine equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor troubleshooting.
Physical & Safety Requirements:
Physically fit to handle equipment operation, setup, and manual tasks in outdoor construction environments.
Strong commitment to workplace safety, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.
Capable of working under varying weather conditions and adapting to dynamic job sites.
Communication & Work Ethic:
Fluency in Italian is required; basic English communication skills are an asset.
