Job Description:
The Advocacy Manager Director in AI Ahmadi leads advocacy efforts designed to influence public policy, mobilize communities, and secure systemic change aligned with the nonprofit’s mission. This role includes managing advocacy campaigns, engaging with media, supervising grassroots organizing efforts, and representing the organization in government consultations.
They oversee the development of advocacy toolkits, lead coalition-building activities, develop strategic plans, and track the policy impact of advocacy initiatives. The director is a key member of the leadership team and contributes to organizational planning and external relations.
Job Requirement:
Advanced degree in public affairs, nonprofit leadership, or human rights. Over 8 years in advocacy roles, with at least 3 in a senior leadership position. Proven record in coalition leadership, public speaking, and campaign management. Strong strategic planning and stakeholder engagement abilities.
