Job Description:
The Capacity Building Specialist Consultant designs and delivers interventions that strengthen organizational capacity, improve staff competencies, and enhance the ability of local partners to implement sustainable development programs. Based in AI Ahmadi, the consultant works with senior leadership to assess capacity needs, create customized learning plans, and facilitate training workshops.
Key duties include conducting capacity assessments, developing tools for organizational self-evaluation, mentoring teams, and supporting the design of succession planning strategies. The consultant may also help in restructuring teams for better alignment with strategic objectives.
Job Requirement:
Master’s degree in organizational development, education, or international development. Over 10 years of consulting experience, particularly with capacity building for nonprofits, community-based organizations, or social enterprises. Proven record in developing competency frameworks, designing scalable training programs, and delivering high-impact facilitation. Familiarity with adult learning principles and participatory approaches.
