Job Description:

The Air Safety Compliance Manager leads the enforcement and continual improvement of safety policies and regulatory adherence within flight operations, maintenance, and ground handling units. This role ensures alignment with ICAO Annexes, national aviation regulations, IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) standards, and internal SMS protocols.

Primary responsibilities include managing internal safety audits, liaising with civil aviation authorities during inspections, responding to findings, coordinating corrective actions, and preparing reports for senior management. The manager also oversees training programs related to safety awareness, safety risk management, and human factors. In collaboration with safety officers and department heads, the manager promotes a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organization.

Job Requirement:

A degree in aviation safety, compliance, or regulatory affairs is required. At least 7–10 years of experience in a safety management or regulatory role within an airline or airport is necessary, with demonstrated leadership experience. A background in IOSA audit preparation and regulatory interaction is essential.

Candidates must have a deep understanding of international safety standards, safety performance indicators (SPIs), and root cause analysis methodologies. Experience in safety management systems software and risk assessment frameworks (e.g., Bowtie, HIRA) is a plus. Strong leadership, analytical, and documentation skills are necessary. The role requires an individual with high integrity, confidentiality awareness, and the ability to foster interdepartmental cooperation in safety-related matters.
