Job Description:
The Aircraft Movement Coordinator is responsible for managing aircraft parking, taxiing, pushback, and towing operations. They ensure that aircraft are safely and efficiently maneuvered on the airside without causing delays or conflicts. This involves close coordination with ATC, ramp control, and ground handlers.
The coordinator monitors apron congestion, assigns aircraft stands, and manages towing schedules for maintenance or parking adjustments. They play a key role during weather disruptions or emergency situations, ensuring contingency plans are implemented promptly.
Job Requirement:
A diploma or bachelor's degree in airport or airside operations is preferred. 3–5 years of experience in apron or aircraft handling roles is required. Candidates must have working knowledge of aircraft types, ramp operations, and airport layout.
Strong communication skills, situational awareness, and problem-solving abilities are necessary. A valid airside driving license and familiarity with apron management software are mandatory. Flexibility to work rotating shifts and a strong commitment to airside safety protocols is essential.
