Job Description:

The Airline Partnership Manager manages relationships with airline partners, overseeing commercial agreements, strategic alliances, and joint initiatives to enhance route connectivity, passenger volumes, and service quality. This role is essential for building collaborative frameworks with carriers and enhancing the airport’s or airline’s market presence.

Key responsibilities include negotiating partnership agreements, supporting interline or codeshare arrangements, managing performance metrics, and fostering joint marketing campaigns. The manager also tracks competitor partnerships, identifies growth opportunities, and supports route development through coordinated efforts with air service development teams.

Job Requirement:

A bachelor’s degree in business, aviation, or marketing is required. A minimum of 7 years in airline commercial management or alliance development is essential. Experience in developing airline business cases, managing SLAs, and facilitating interdepartmental coordination is key.

The candidate must possess excellent negotiation, presentation, and analytical skills. Familiarity with aviation partnership structures, alliance networks (e.g., Star Alliance, Oneworld), and airline performance evaluation tools is expected. Knowledge of scheduling coordination and commercial terms like prorate and revenue sharing is also important.
