Job Description:

The Apparel Pattern Designer in Qurain is responsible for transforming design concepts into precise patterns that can be used in mass garment production. This position involves collaborating with designers to interpret their creative vision and then developing patterns that meet both aesthetic and manufacturing requirements. The designer ensures that patterns provide optimal fit, drape, and wearability.

The job entails creating base patterns (blocks), adjusting for various sizes (grading), and digitizing designs for use in automated systems. The Apparel Pattern Designer also works on test fittings, coordinates with sewing and cutting teams, and revises patterns based on feedback from prototypes. Attention to detail and technical precision are crucial.

Job Requirement:

Candidates must have a minimum of three years of pattern design experience in the textile and apparel industry. Proficiency in pattern-making software, including Gerber, Optitex, or Lectra, is essential. A degree in apparel design, pattern technology, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Applicants should have solid knowledge of garment construction, fabric behavior, and production requirements. The ability to troubleshoot fitting issues, apply creative solutions, and communicate technical adjustments to the team is necessary. Familiarity with size grading and pattern digitization is also important.
