Job Description:
The Clothing Folding Assistant plays a crucial role in preparing finished garments for packaging, storage, or retail display by folding them according to standard guidelines. The assistant ensures that each garment is neatly and consistently folded to minimize wrinkles, conserve space, and present the product professionally. They may use folding templates or tools to achieve uniformity and speed, particularly when handling high-volume batches.
Key responsibilities include sorting garments by size and style, inspecting for defects before folding, and stacking or organizing folded garments in designated bins or packaging materials. The assistant also helps in affixing size stickers, preparing folded items for bagging or boxing, and keeping the folding area clean and organized. This position involves working closely with the tagging, labeling, and packing teams.
Job Requirement:
No formal education is required, although experience in garment retail or manufacturing is an advantage. The job demands physical stamina, strong organizational skills, and a high degree of attention to detail to ensure consistent folding standards.
Candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and speed. They must have good manual dexterity, a neat working style, and a willingness to follow specific folding instructions.
